Notes of a Case of Cataract: Loss of Greater Part of Vitreous Humour during the Operation: Ultimate Satisfactory Results

Gopal, a Hindu male, aged about 42 years, came into Burrisal Dispensary, 10th August, with cataract in both eyes. Was quite blind of right eye for nearly two years, and is almost blind of the left one. Cataract commenced in the right eye about three years ago. An ophthalmoscopic examination was made, but the opacity of the lens was too dense to allow of intraocula inspection. The pupil contracted when a strong light was brought to bear on it, but under the influence of atropine did not dilate so perfectly as the left.
